Located in the heart of the 7 Points area in Florence, Earnest Barber Shop is owned and operated by local musician Daniel Crisler.
With not to mention, Daniel has been a part of our Shoals Music scene and making awesome music for the last twenty years on top of creating this one of a kind shop.
Though there are many great barber shops in the Shoals, Ernest (named after Daniel’s grandfather) is a fantastic addition to our community.
Open Tuesday- Saturday, with 3 talented barbers on staff to choose from.

Shoals Saturday: Rivertown Coffee
As a perfect mid-day stop, Rivertown has not only gourmet coffee but delicious homemade breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We highly recommend!
Since 2004, Rivertown has been a Shoals staple for us all.
Between the coffee, tea, meals, and seeing pretty much everyone in town, this place is a must.

Who doesn’t love chips, salsa, and a good atmosphere? Taco Mama is a favorite of ours here in Florence.
Our personal favorite is the nachos- but we can’t forget about their guac!
You can’t find a list of margaritas as long as theirs anywhere else! For great Tex Mex and familiar faces, this is our go to spot.
